Am I the only one that wishes the commentator(s) in these types of situations would say, what the chant/song is and then not speak so its just the chant?. Never walk alone shirt. We had a shit campaign that year, but the fans were singing Fields of Athenry full volume. I think it was a German commentator just sat quiet and let the audio from the crowd play. Saw a guy in the stand below me at Old Trafford having presuming a heart attack right at the end of the 4-4 against Everton a few years back. Someone rushed over to give CPR, never found out if they made it. The strain a football match must put on weak hearts must be insane, especially that game!

That’s how I feel though, and that’s how football fans I know in real life are. Never walk alone shirt. We’re just supporters, we watch games, we enjoy that, and we hope for the best. I watch the game, and if we play poor I’m a bit sad afterward. And then an hour later all is good. I just really dislike the sentiment of this sub. If we lose, then the rest of that week this sub is angry and all kinds of players/staff get thrown in front of the bus. So I used to frequent this sub a lot, and actively discuss football here. But now I barely check it and almost never comment. Because all the discussion seems fueled by hate and misery, and I just don’t care for that. Everyone can say and do whatever they want, and for me, that’s not being around negative people and shitty sentiment. Fuck all of the cunts here disrespecting players who have given more to the club than most of them ever will. These fans here stood behind each and every single player.
