I’m not sure how good a “political” move it is. It’s just honest. Trump made a lot of back room deals with the Taliban about the future of Afghanistan. He undermined the legitimate Afghan government and forced them to release over 5,000 Taliban terrorists, then illegally pulled thousands of troops out of Afghanistan days before leaving office. Informed people already know this, so it doesn’t help Biden with them to point it out, and delusional Trump cultists won’t believe it even if you show them the video of Trump bragging about forcing Biden’s hand. Maybe there are some people in the middle who don’t know all of this and Biden can help them understand what is really happening and this would help him and the Democrats in the mid-terms, but I’m not sure politics is what he’s thinking about right now.
