I doubt that cats and dogs feel offended

I doubt that cats and dogs feel offended, but they probably feel a bit confused why they aren’t allowed to sit next to their beloved humans on the sofa or bed. Pet dogs and cats love their humans unconditionally and always want to be close to us. You can avoid the conflict and guilt by purchasing plenty of large fleece blankets/throws to cover your sofa/couch/bed and allowing your pets to snuggle with you. I always kept 2 sets for each sofa and bed — one to use and one to go in the wash and have ready for the next swap. When my son took my 2 cats into his home, I gave him all the blankets to use. Here they are at his apartment on the same brown colored blankets (covering my son’s grey sofa.

When you Stop you can also place Food and Water in some Small Non Spill Bowls. The main thing is to keep him Safe and make sure he does Not Escape.
