TNR is very important and the only humane and effective way to reduce the homeless cat population

TNR is very important and the only humane and effective way to reduce the homeless cat population. TNR involves trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning cats to their colony where a caretaker feeds and monitors the colony daily. Animal shelters don’t have the stuff to go out to feed and trap feral cats. Many people consider homeless cats to be a “nuisance” and they don’t want them around. Period. To help feral cats you need a colony caretaker. A colony caretaker is an individual responsible for the health and well-being of a feral cat colony. The colony caretaker provides food, water, and shelter but the most important is the spaying and neutering of the colony.
