If you really can't make room.for a tree, I would suggest a window shelf for your cat. These usually use the edge of the window soil and suction cups that attach to the window. Then your cat can look out the window. You can make the window more interesting by hanging a small wild bird feeder by the window. Your cat can watch the birds. A soft cat bed can fit into a small place. My cat Marley has a round bed that is fuzzy and soft. He curls up in it. Have a variety of cat toys including a wand or fishing pole type. These allow you to play with your cat. This helps give your cat exercise. Plan times to play with your cat twice a day for about 15 minutes each time.
