I do it for the reason firstly that I simply don't know how to thank Jesus for all He has done for me.. But also because I love people and want to help where I can. Sent’, does not mean ‘Save’. Jesus also said “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” John 10:16 Jesus’ mission was that He was ‘sent’ to the lost sheep of the House of Israel (Matthew 15:24), Yet after His resurrection, He told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:14:18) and that those that believe and are baptised shall be “SAVED”. “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
