 Try NOT to offer too many “treats'' or “people foods” to the cat, and be sure to put smaller portions out. This cat cannot communicate what he/ she TRULY wants and needs! I'm sure that other Quora writers will have excellent advice for you, as I myself am blessed with a loving little kitty that is NOT AT ALL “food motivated” -- she drinks plenty of water that I put out for her ( cleaning the clear, glass bowls daily) and tends to turn AWAY from the vast array of carefully selected, healthy flavors of wet cat food I try to feed her! FRUSTRATING for me all these years! However, my vet assures me that she is healthy, despite being somewhat underweight.
