 I was at my store and I received a call from one of my neighbors that two of my Mallard Ducks were chasing around the 6 ducklings that had just hatched a few days ago and trying to kill them. They had already killed one. I quickly drove home, pulled up my driveway, ran in the house and grabbed my shotgun. I threw the shotgun on the seat of my car and drove back to the lake.

When I got back to the lake, the two Mallards were still chasing the baby ducks. I got out of my car and instantly shot those two Mallards. It just so happened that my other neighbor saw the whole thing but couldn’t figure out why in hell I would just go back to my lake and shoot two of my ducks. You might be thinking I kind of took it over the limit but that is me! I was brutally beaten and mentally abused for years during my childhood.

Over the years I spent hundreds of hours sitting in a dark walk-in closet since I felt safe in there. Over those hundreds of hours, I had a lot of time to think and I did a lot of thinking: One day when I have kids, my kids will come running to the door happy I am home. They will not be hiding in a closet fearing for their life. I would be kind to others.

I (25) am 11 years older to my boyfriend(24), we both love each other in the most crazy way possible. After multiple attempts to separate, we realised that it is juts impossible to make us both happy in a manner we make each other. I am an ambitious woman, prepping for masters because i lost my father two months back, i owe it to my family but his other is so concerned about him getting married asap (probably in the coming season, they have started sharing the photos to which my guy refuses to see). His mother being alone wants him to get married to his choice because she feels alone saying she needs to see more members in the family, my guys studies at home and handles his family hotel business, he mostly spends his time at home as his mother keeps a check on where he goes and who he be with ( a reason we are bound to stay away for month until he loses and comes back).

My knee; where her bumper hit me; got quite swollen. My father was furious; not at me; but me but the lady who took off before I could make out what had happened.

One time in college I almost hit a car and I remember shaking because it can be very scary. My professor told me something that helped me.

 A cat must eat roughly every day. When it doesn’t, the cat's metabolism starts consuming itself. Which is not bad if it is a diet as it focuses on consuming fat - but very bad when the liver malfunctions. Eating then causes the cat to have a gag reflex, and throw up any food eaten - and that can be painful, resulting in the cat choosing not to eat. Hepatic lipidosis is the formal name for “fatty liver disease”. The only treatment is having a tube inserted into their stomach, and pumping a little food into it on a minimum of a daily basis. The inserted tube bypasses the gag reflex. It can take a couple of weeks to get over the problem, but the damage to the liver remains. Also expect heart problems as well as future liver issues. Diabetes tends only to work with injections of insulin as the pancreas has pretty much quit functioning. Sometimes it can be treated with special foods if it is partially working, but expect to have to use injections every day for the rest of the cat's life.

However, unless you have an outdoor facility offering shelter from predators and the elements where you frequently join the cat for some bonding time, it is cruel. When you don't allow a companion animal to be your companion, all you really are doing is feeding a friendly stray cat. Oh, you may play with it a little outside, you may love it for a while. But eventually, you will go in the house and close the door to the kitty, locking yourself away from it. You get to be safe. You get to be sheltered from the scary winds. That poor cat is out there in the midst of it. Keeping a cat outside significantly shortens its life. Think of all the things that can hurt or kill it. If your intention is to keep a cat outside, please do not get a cat. They give us so much, they deserve to be inside and safe.
