 In my experience with our one cat who's had issues from eating too much-wet food, it’s a fine balance. He loves his wet food and leaves it dry until he has not much choice. Too much wet can cause anal gland issues because it doesn't get expressed when the feces is too soft. We’re at the point I give him a wee bit of wet and he knows the bowl of dry is there when he’s hankering for food. But yes the Purina One dry food seems to help his coat, the wet food they have also is superior. We buy salmon with rice. In my opinion (after 40 years plus of having cats, rescues, or otherwise) they need both. But only tablespoons of a wet foodie, not a big can, fiber is also dosed per size of the cat.
