It’s probably some phobia your cat has of you, due to you being the one taking care of him/her. Nail clipping, bathing, cleaning of butt/ears/eyes, toothbrushing, shooing off of the table/counter, etc, etc. It could also be the noisy/scary housework that you do - vacuuming, washing up, cleaning, gathering trash with plastic garbage bags, etc, etc. My advice is to play with your cat with some cat toys and reward them with snacks each time and on a daily basis. That way the cat associates good things with you and downplays the negative things. It will take time though.
