In the 1960s and 1970s there were countless acts that will still be relevant after most of the music since that period is long forgotten. The problem with most bands since 1980 is that they don’t have the longevity that the early classic rock bands had. The Rolling Stones put out great music for around 12–15 years. The Who had a nice 13 year run. The Beatles put out more albums from 1963 to 1970 than the Rolling Stones have in their entire 58 or 59 year run, which itself is stunning. Then there was Led Zeppelin, who shocked the world for eleven years.

Who are you going to put up against that? Pearl Jam? They have two monster albums and then a bunch of albums that sold because they had the words “Pearl Jam” on the cover. Red Hot Chili Peppers? Maybe if they hadn’t turned into an Easy-Listening band. Bands such as U2 and Van Halen will likely stand the test of time. There’s probably a few others I’m forgetting. Metallica, for example.

One problem for music since the 1970s is probably that it’s become more of a business. In the 60s and 70s, bands were making music because they loved to make music. Of course they wanted to make money, too, but until Led Zeppelin came along, most bands weren’t living too comfortably. The Who had to tighten their purse strings between touring even after Tommy came out. Pink Floyd struggled for four or five years before DSOTM allowed them to relax a bit. Today’s acts get rich and famous off of their first albums. Then they don’t put too much effort into it. So yeah, I’m an elitist, condescending classic rock snob and I’m proud of that.

This is better for a cat's health and there are already too many stray cats. Plus if the cat has any disease like aids (this disease can't be transferred to humans) which they can give to other cats it's more terrible. And if they are spayed/neutered it will take away their physical desire for reproduction. And no it's not unnatural to get them spayed/neutered. It's better for their health. Less chances of other diseases too.

By the way, I have bred and trained dogs all my life and they are trained off leash to voice and hand commands but I still leash them when I go out in public because of the perception people have to seeing a big dog off leash(I have 2 German Shepherds) people still cross the street when I walk my guys and I just chuckle about it and continue to move on. Great question. As time passes historical figures that used to be revered slowly become villains depending on the changing circumstances. We see that today in the western world with old heroes slowly but surely getting an aura of malevolence around them. One of those people is Christoper Columbus.

This sole discovery transformed several countries from medieval and rotten relics of a once great Roman civilization to prosperous foundations of modern day Europe.

Obviously, with the rise of woke politics this man has been vilified as a genocidal maniac who paved the road for European ruthlessness in the Americas. I understand where these thoughts come from but I feel these opinions fail to consider a lot of perspectives. For one, this was the 1400s where the rule “the strongest survive and the weak perish” was dominant. Each state had one purpose, defend your country. In order to do that effectively you have a lot of options with one being empire building. Considering we are talking about Columbus let’s think about Spains situation in the years of the discovery.
