It’s probably some phobia your cat has of you, due to you being the one taking care of him/her. Nail clipping, bathing, cleaning of butt/ears/eyes, toothbrushing, shooing off of the table/counter, etc, etc. It could also be the noisy/scary housework that you do - vacuuming, washing up, cleaning, gathering trash with plastic garbage bags, etc, etc. My advice is to play with your cat with some cat toys and reward them with snacks each time and on a daily basis. That way the cat associates good things with you and downplays the negative things. It will take time though.

A pet has also been found to help people readjust after going through trauma like surgery for cancer. This is because an animal gives them something to focus on besides their situation; this shifts their attention towards things other than themselves which takes their mind off what they're going through. For someone suffering from depression, their mind is always focused on themselves. For someone who feels great, even losing their pet would not diminish their sense of wellbeing because they have so much else going for them in life.

My cat was bitten by two dogs, I took her to the vet the next day, Xrays and blood samples were taken and they had me pick her up the next day after she got stitched up. She was home with me for 2 days and she seemed fine but I got a call from the vet saying something about a hernia and that she needed surgery asap. So I took her in that same day and picked her up the next day and was given pain medication and Cephalexin. I gave her the medication as the vet advised but now it's been 4 days since the operation and she has a cold? I can hear her breathing loud and her right eye gets a bit wet. I have taken her to the shower with me so the steam can help her like I saw on the internet as a home remedy. I just want to know if this is normal. She has never had this problem. She is an 8-year-old female who is spayed. Any help is greatly appreciated

You’d have to get FOX, NewsMax, AON, The Washington Insider and other conservative platforms to agree. This will not happen. Trump will never be ignored by conservatives. His supporters wear clothes with his name on it, they fly his flag, they echo his words and they are complicit in his lies. America is not going to recover from the Trump movement. Trump probably received marketing value from the book, and he cleared $1 million in 2018, years after it was published. It probably paid him six figures a year for decades. (Other books not so profitable.)

At least half of the country would see it as a totally partisan move and the republic would probably not survive. He has not gotten the infrastructure deal. Schumer finally got enough people to vote to recommend sending it to committee; we still don’t have a bill on paper that can be debated or voted on yet. Also, it was Pelosi and Schumer who slashed and burned bipartisanship. Trump tried to work with them, but they refused. They would go to the White House whenever they wanted to put on a great show about storming out and making wild accusations on TV, but they refused to work with Trump and the Republicans on anything since the Obama administration really. (Hence why Obama stopped the process of going to Congress to get laws, and just started creating them by edict via his “pen and phone.”)

It reviews cases for legal errors in the application of law. In certain specific instances it will accept a filing when it is a disagreement between states. This was the case when the Texas AG filed against Pennsylvania and other states claiming that Texas voters were effected when the states applied their own statutes and procedures. It was rejected based on standing. The 2000 election may be mentioned. SCOTUS did not call the election for Bush. It simply said that the Florida recount was unconstitutional as there were no clear standards and that time for recounts had run out. Bush was ahead so, game over. Were SCOTUS wade in, it would signal an end to their role and possibly the constitution itself. As it is, they have no actual enforcement powers let alone the ability to set aside a half dozen elections.

Trump had know idea there would be a riot at the Capitol. What we have here is yet another instance where Donald Trump has no idea how the government works or the concept of the separation of powers. The executive branch, which includes the DOJ, has no authority over the administration of elections by the states. Further, delegation of this power to the states is enshrined right in that pesky little document, the Constitution. Trump’s desire here was to act like a petty dictator and force them to do his bidding or face firing. I am not sure how great a threat that was given that they would be replaced by the incoming administration in less than a month. A few people answering are of the impression that SCOTUS could step in if there was fraud. Sorry, no. SCOTUS is an appellate court.
