He's probably not mean he's probably playing with you. That's how cats, especially kittens, play. They don't speak English they don't know they are hurting you when they scratch and bite while playing. Have you ever watched kittens and cats play? They aren't gentle with each other at all! They attack each other and use their teeth and claws. If you don't like the way the cat plays, if it's too aggressive for you then use cat toys. They have to get out their energy somehow. Play with a laser so they can run around and chase it. I play with my cats every day at least an hour a day, usually more. After about 20 minutes or so of playing laser, I get treats and toss them then have the laser go to it so they catch their “prey.’
